He (Irving) pushes me to the limit, yet is never short of encouragement or praise for me when I finish a workout. He is, as I would like to say, an ‘AWESOMUS MAXIMUS’ trainer.

I’ve been friends with Irving since my poly days ( He worked in a record store in the day and at night, was a bouncer at a club I used to frequent )and for as long as I have known Irving, I have known him to be very head strong, stubborn and the type of person who does not take crap from anyone. Or anyone who gets on the wrong side of him, to be specific. That being said, Irving is also one of the kindest, most caring people whom I have had the privilege and honour to be friends with and has an immense passion for what he loves and what he believes in. Irving is passionate about fitness. And people. Ordinary people – like me, who want to be healthier, stronger and look better. He pushes me to the limit, yet is never short of encouragement or praise for me when I finish a workout. He is, as I would like to say, an ‘AWESOMUS MAXIMUS’ trainer. I can say a lot of good things about Irving as a trainer and the list would be endless, but in short, I just want to share the most meaningful outcome from my personal training with Irving. In the span of a month under Irving’s care, I have been able to fit back into my pre-maternity, size 6 jeans. A feat never accomplished before even though my child is already 6 years old! As trivial as it may seem, it literally brought tears to my eyes. So what are the next steps for me? It doesn’t stop with size 6 jeans, that’s for sure. I want to keep training with Irving at The PIT to be stronger, more agile, more body-beautiful and feel better about myself with each passing day. To stay fit and healthy and be able to grow old gracefully. I want to be like Irving – my personal trainer from humble beginnings (who’s still humble by the way)… to a force to be reckoned with, in strength, in fitness, in life.
